It’s Cool To Cry

Turning mental health awareness into action
It’s Cool To Cry turns mental health awareness into action by encouraging people to talk about their feelings before they become overwhelming.
Founded by Jack Davis, the initiative empowers people with the confidence and tools to have meaningful conversations about mental health. Through workshops, community engagement and merchandise that gets people talking, It’s Cool To Cry makes these conversations part of everyday life.
The message is simple: you don’t have to have everything together all the time. It’s okay to show emotion, ask for support and talk honestly about how you’re feeling.
Why conversations? Because the more people we bring into them, the more understanding and empathy we create. Together, we can reduce the fear of judgement, shame and stigma that can stop people from speaking up.
These conversations don’t have to be perfect. They just take practice. And if you end up crying, that’s cool.
